Ascot Neighborhood Details

Ascot is a premier community in Irmo, South Carolina, known for its beautiful homes, upscale amenities, and convenient location. Situated off Kennerly Road, the neighborhood offers a suburban lifestyle with easy access to shopping at Harbison, Downtown Columbia, and Lake Murray.

Ascot Amenities & HOA Details

The community features sidewalk-lined streets, a clubhouse with a full kitchen available for rental, a large community pool with a cabana, a playground, and tennis / pickleball courts. Planned activities and a notable Fourth of July fireworks show contribute to the strong sense of community. The neighborhood is also known for being horse-friendly, with trails throughout the neighborhood.

Ascot Neighborhood Sections

Ascot Estates features the largest homes, often ranging from 4,000 to over 10,000 square feet and priced from around $700,000 to over $1 million in 2025. Most homes are situated on larger, often wooded lots, and many include private pools.

Ascot Ridge homes range from the $700s to $900s with an average of 4,700 square feet in 2025. This section of Ascot offers larger homes, although the most expansive properties are typically found in Ascot Estates.

Ascot Glen homes are similar to those in Ascot Ridge, with a lower entry point from the $500s to $800s and an average of 4,900 square feet in 2025.

Ascot Downs homes range from the $500s to $800s with an average of 4,400 square feet in 2025. This section of the neighborhood is also home to Creekside Farm Stables, a privately owned horse stable.

Ascot Place offers one of the lowest entry points in the community, from the $400s to $800s, with most homes and lots smaller than those found in other sections.

The Courtyards at Ascot Ridge is a popular option for those looking to downsize, with homes starting in the $400s on smaller, low-maintenance lots. This section is located at the front of Ascot Ridge.

Ascot Woods is the newest section, featuring Mungo Sovereign Homes priced from the $400s to $700s, typically on smaller lots. The average home is around 4,000 square feet, and many in this section include basements due to the topography.
