Types of Homes
Most of Chestnut Hill Plantation is single-family homes built from the mid-1990s through the late 2000s, with a handful of later additions. Homes range from one-story plans to two-story and some three-story designs, and each named section has its own streets and character.
The Point at Chestnut Hill Plantation is the newest section: a group of townhomes along Winding Chestnut Drive built in 2025 and 2026 by Lennar and Executive Construction Homes. Lennar lists its townhome community there as sold out. Ask us what is still available from the builder and what has come back as a resale.
Neighborhood Amenities
According to the HOA's community website, the community's clubhouse complex on Lost Creek Drive includes a furnished clubhouse residents can rent, a junior Olympic-size pool with a separate children's wading pool, four lighted tennis and pickleball courts, a fenced playground, open lawns and a field, and several ponds. The HOA also describes walking paths along the main roads, natural hiking trails that run through the woods and along the Broad River, and a private, resident-only lake with a boat ramp, pier, and covered gazebo.
The Point has its own owners association. Builder listings there say the townhome association covers lawn care, roof maintenance, exterior pressure washing, and internet service, and describe access to the community amenities. Ask us for current documents from both associations, the current dues, and how amenity access works for the specific home you're considering. The Chestnut Hill Plantation HOA posts its current dues on its website.

- For a new townhome at The Point, ask about the builder warranty and what the townhome association covers
- Ask for the HOA or covenant documents and the current dues, if any, before you write an offer
- Confirm school assignment for the specific address with the school district
